This year, the activities range from musical to educational to kid-friendly. A few notable attractions include the Irish Language Workshop hosted by the Gaelic League, free-of-charge children’s face painting, and music entertainment found not only at an outdoor tent stage but also an indoor stage. Come enjoy Irish dance performances, pipe and drum music, men’s choruses and more.
It wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day Austin without some delicious Irish eats. Food options will be plenty and satisfying. Come choose from all your favorites, such as fish and chips, Irish po’boys, and corn beef and cabbage. Irish beers will be on tap, and there’s a strict “No Green Beer” policy. Why stop at one meal? Since the celebration runs from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, St. Patrick’s Day Austin is the perfect place for both lunch and dinner.
The admittance fee is only $15 per adult, and children gain entry for a mere $5. You will need to pre-purchase tickets online, as there will be no tickets for sale at the gate. Be sure to print and save your receipts to avoid any issues upon arrival. Don’t worry about adding parking fees to the ticket price. There will be free parking available.
